Fourth Elm Construction is a commercial General Contractor based in the Piedmont-Triad region of North Carolina, serving clients across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee. The Fourth Elm Construction team brings a broad level of expertise to a construction project; this experience includes work in the office, industrial, medical, retail, residential/senior living and automotive market sectors. We provide pre-construction/estimating, design-build, and construction management/supervision services.

Intern Responsibilities
Intern Responsibilities may include:
-Assist Superintendents In the field.
-Partner with Project Manager, Superintendents and Estimator to learn more about Industry.
-Assist with development and execution of project plans and schedules.
-Prepare/process client requested data.
-Assist with Subcontract Agreements.
-Coordinate with Project Managers to make modifications and corrections to project specific details.
-Conduct job site visits with Project Manager.
-May assist in preparation of proposals, change orders and estimation process.

Pay Rate
Competitive hourly pay rate based on experience and education
40 hours per week

Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Please note: all Fellows will attend the Leonard Kaplan Leadership Institute at the Center for Creative Leadership on either June 11 & 12, 2018 or June 18 & 19, 2018. If hired as an intern through the Fellows Program, you will attend one of the sessions in June.

Required Qualifications:
Rising Junior or Senior. Motivated, willing to work hard, and a passion for construction. Must be willing to also work in the field.
