Intern Responsibilities

The Community Engagement Intern (CEI) works with the Executive Director to plan, develop, organize and administer the engagement strategy for stakeholders of Boundless Impact, including board members, donors, volunteers, program participants and partner organizations. The CEI will contribute to the mission, strategy and impact of the organization by coordinating communication strategies through online engagement, including web and social media platforms. The position will develop and curate content, schedule posts, integrate with social media tools and track results of on-line communication strategies. The CEI will also participate in program meetings and event planning, as needed./span

• Plan, coordinate and oversee community engagement opportunities for stakeholders through on-line communications, including program and event promotion, newsletters, website and public relations.
• Develop and implement social media strategy for organization’s mission, programs and strategy.
• Represent organization in program, networking and event planning meetings, as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Director

Pay Rate

$2,500 (minimum) for 10-weeks

Please note: all Fellows will attend the Leonard Kaplan Leadership Institute at the Center for Creative Leadership on either June 11 & 12, 2018 or June 18 & 19, 2018. If hired as an intern through the Fellows Program, you will attend one of the sessions in June.

Required Qualifications:

Pursuing degree from an accredited institution; prior work experience; knowledge of on-line engagement tactics, ability to work with virtual and remote teams
Preferred Qualifications:

Creative and engaging communication style, with exceptional relationship-building skills; Demonstrates clear judgment, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities; Is able to work independently, self-manage, multi-task and meet deadlines.
