Intern Responsibilities

All areas of accounting and finance including the monthly close process utilizing QuickBooks accounting software

Closing journal entries

Bank reconciliation

Maintaining accounting files

Help process AP, AR

Assist in preparation of customer invoices

Support employee expense reports, review process and corporate credit card reconciliations

Providing support for other ad hoc analyses and projects as needed

Pay Rate


10-40 hours/week


Full-time 8:30 am -5:30 pm
Part-time: to be determined

Yes, but Fellows must be able to complete all required Fellows Programming
Please note: all Fellows will attend the Leonard Kaplan Leadership Institute at the Center for Creative Leadership on either June 11 & 12, 2018 or June 18 & 19, 2018. If hired as an intern through the Fellows Program, you will attend one of the sessions in June.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting in your Junior or Senior year

Microsoft Excel skills

Self-motivated, independent, and collaborative team member

Detail oriented

Business, analytical, problem solving and communication skills (written and verbal)

Work Environment

Growing small tech company with collaborative team.  Business casual dress. Fully equipped office with prime location in downtown Greensboro with scenic views of the city and in close proximity to coffee shops, dining, entertainment and parks.
Additional Internship Perks

Ability to get to know and work with all members of the company and exposure to all functional areas of the business.  Company provides Mac laptop, coffee, parking, break-room.
