Intern Responsibilities

The Accounting department within Samet Corporation is seeking an intern to begin part-time (around 10 hours/week) until the spring semester ends and then transition to more of a full-time internship for the duration of the Fellows Program. The Accounting intern will work directly in the Accounting department. Specific duties will be determined and discussed in the interview and hiring process.

Pay Rate

Competitive hourly rate, depending on degree/year in college, previous experience, and market rate

Spring semester: around 10 hours/week
Summer: 32-40 hours/week

Start Date

Opportunity to start now and continue through August 


Start in early June
End Date

Mid-August 2018 - must be able to complete all Fellows programming through second week of August

Please note: all Fellows will attend the Leonard Kaplan Leadership Institute at the Center for Creative Leadership on either June 11 & 12, 2018 or June 18 & 19, 2018. If hired as an intern through the Fellows Program, you will attend one of the sessions in June.

Required Qualifications:

Participation in accredited degree program
Undergraduate student; current junior or senior
Accounting major
Strong communication skills (verbal & written) & ability to work in a team oriented environment are required
